I have developed games since 2008 under the name “arty farty games”
I have a passion for video games and most things related to them. This is the reason I started developing small independent games projects in flash, back in 2008. I have gone through several games, and several game engines, since that first project but the passion for video games remains. Here are some of the games I have developed.
Busstop Lovematch
It may look like it, but this is actually a horror game. Developed in the python based engine Renpy, this game follows you (the protagonist) as you meet a possible love match at a bus station. Things quickly take a turn for the bizarre as your love match turned out to be anything but lovely. A link to this game can be found if you hover over the image.
The Reset
I received a grant from the danish institute of film in 2019 to develop the mind-bending game “the reset”. In this game, you play as an amnesiac, who is given an app that contains all of his memories. You now have to cycle through each small tableau/memory to piece together how you lost your memories and what happened to your son. A link to this game can be found if you hover over the image.
Service C
Scarred is yet another horror game that came out of my desire to make games. This is a point’n’click adventure developed in Unity that is a game set in a haunted house. this game follows a young girl as she tries to navigate the house, without falling prey to the monsters that live there. There is a link to this game if you hover over the image.
I believe that Videogames are the purest form of User experience design because the player is there just to have fun. Your player will abandon you game if it’s not fun, so you have to keep the player engaged via User experience design
